News! Beauty in the Broken title track wins Silver in the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Song Contest 

Washington D.C. artist Laura Baron: a force in indie folk and jazz, captivates audiences with her genre-blending magic and powerful storytelling. Her new album, “Beauty in the Broken” launched in October 2024, is already garnering widespread acclaim and attracting a growing Spotify audience.

Laura’s musical evolution has been shaped by her personal experiences. In 2011 her family in Bethesda, MD adopted a little girl, Ruchi from an orphanage in New Delhi, India.

 This emotional journey has strongly influenced her album "Heart Of The Great Unknown." (Wammies: Contemporary Folk Album, Artist and song: A Little Note).
